Reflexology and Energy Healing for health, wellbeing, renewal and upliftment across West & East Lindsey.
Welcome to Radiant & Refreshed Holistic Wellbeing and thank you for having a look at my website.
My name is Michelle and I qualified with the Anahata School of Reflexology in Lincoln gaining a level 5 Diploma in 2020. At the same time I gained my master Reiki practitioner certificate with Valerie Hopper in Louth.
Since, then I have significantly enhanced my learning and experience of both reflexology and energy healing. I became interested in therapies and healing when I was working with adults with sensory impairment.
I was inspired to learn more and I went on to achieve qualifications in Level 3 Swedish massage and level 3 reflexology. This ignited a passion in me to help people and share what I had learnt. I did my teaching qualification in further education and I qualified as a special needs yoga trainer and Relax kids coach.
I developed my healing through the Reiki levels to master level and this progressed into learning Ascension Energy healing using various healing modalities.
I am now qualified in and use a variety of reflexology and energy healing techniques which I am excited to share with you. I can provide a tailor-made treatment experience leaving you radiant and feeling refreshed.
Reflexology can induce a deep state of relaxation, which improves the effectiveness of the treatment. Relaxing helps relieve tension and aids circulation, increasing the flow of nutrients, oxygen and energy to all parts of the body, and helping with the removal of toxins.
Reflexology is a wonderful way of maintaining your body’s healthy balance and general wellbeing, reducing the stresses and tensions that come with busy lifestyles and giving us a space to reflect on the mind as well as the body.
Reflexology is used to help restore balance in the body, promote relaxation in both the mind and body, help improve sleep, reduce stress and tension, enhance mood, help balance hormones, reduce water retention, menstrual pain and improve circulation, and general well-being.
Reflexology can be done on different areas of the body including the feet, hands, face and ears.
Reflexology lymphatic drainage is an award-winning reflexology sequence which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. It was developed by reflexologist and researcher Sally Kay, whilst working in cancer care.
RLD uses the principles of MLD manual lymphatic drainage and SLD Simple lymphatic drainage exercises applies this to the feet. RLD aim to cause an effect on the lymphatic system. Moving fluid from swollen areas to working lymph in order to be drained. Through research and development it has had great results for people with primary and secondary lymphoedema.
Benefits:
Vertical Reflexology Technique also known as Vertical Reflex Therapy and it was developed by reflexologist Lynne Booth.
What is VRT & and what happens during a treatment?: VRT is a unique method of using weight bearing reflexology and it can be applied to the hands or feet, and synergistically during a treatment. It is suitable for all ages. It is adaptable and can be done seated, standing, and reclining. It compliments classical reflexology. It can be used at the beginning and end of a classical reflexology treatment or as a short treatment on its own.
Benefits:
Functional Reflex Therapy was developed by Lorraine Senior, a reflexologist, and a former teacher with Special Education.
What is it?: A unique framework using a Rainbow Relaxation Routine using short repetitive movements from reflexology on both the hands and feet. A further self-care routine can also be shown to enhance the treatment. Designed for both children and adults of all ages. Uses a FRT Toolkit to aid communication and involvement in a session FRT can be done in various settings such as mainstream schools, Special Education settings and care homes. It can be delivered on a 1:1 basis in small group settings through a parent/carer workshop over two sessions.
Benefits:
Auricular reflexology is also known as ear reflexology and auricular therapy. The ears have been important for thousands of years and originally stems from ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture. The ears are sensitive and are full of nerve endings making them an effective area to treat in reflexology.
Why work the ears?: It is safe, simple, quick and effective treatment that has profound relaxing effects on the body. It can be done as a treatment on its own or synergistically with the foot, hand or face reflexology. It also nicely complements a head or face massage. Thanks to Nozier in the 1950s and mapping of reflex points each ear is an entire map of the body and reflex points are stimulated as they are in foot reflexology. In ear reflexology there are also additional points included, for example emotional balancing points and points for addiction and allergies. Additional to working the ear, post treatments earseeds can be placed on reflexes with self-care guidance to enhance the healing between treatments.
Benefits:
Facial Acupressure Therapy is a lovely relaxing and luxurious treatment that works the unique structure of the face, using acupressure points to release tension and stress, relaxing the nervous system and promoting rejuvenation of the face. The treatment incorporates a combination of massage and Chinese acupressure facial mapping to the head, face, neck and shoulders to help benefit the whole of the body. The method I use has been developed by Heidi Armstrong at the Complementary Therapy College, Bath. It can be used as a stand alone treatment or incorporated with ear or foot reflexology.
What happens?: After a full consultation and understanding of your skin type, you will receive a relaxing scalp, neck and shoulder massage to help you relax and unwind your mind and body. Following this a facial cleanser is applied to the face and a warm towel is placed on the face to add that feeling of sheer luxury as you lie back and relax. Then a warm facial oil is applied to the face and neck to help nourish and boost the skin, helping it feel light and refreshed. The treatment is extremely relaxing, as you experience a gentle massage and light finger pressure to help release acupressure points in the face, head, neck and shoulders. To release any further tension in the muscles of the face and head, the fascia of the face is gently worked and to complete the treatment light pressure is used to help drain and stimulate the lymphatic system. This will help you feel and look revitalised. It is a very safe treatment and good for those with chronic conditions.
Benefits:
Crystal Reflex incorporates crystals into a reflexology treatment. It is also known as crystal reflexology. The method I use has been developed by Carolyn Roberts at Gaia School of Natural Health.
What happens?: A range of crystals are selected and chosen by the therapist and client. Crystals are then placed on and around the client and the therapist uses additional shaped crystals as tools to feel and work reflexes on the foot or hand during a reflexology treatment.
Benefits:
Combines aromatherapy and reflexology into one treatment. The method used is from the Gaia School of Natural Health.
What happens?: After a consultation with the client and before a reflexology treatment a tailor-made cream is made especially for the client. This cream uses a blend of three Essential oils extracted from natural herbs, plants, flowers, fruits, and trees. The blend adds a luxurious quality to a reflexology treatment. The blend is taken home by the client and used daily for a further fourteen days to enhance the effects of the treatment.
Benefits:
Hot stones Reflexology uses warm Basalt stones as part of a reflexology treatment, to add a luxurious warmth and feel to the treatment. The warm stones are used as tools to work the reflex points as well as massaging the hands or feet, which is very therapeutic and relaxing. Cool stones can also be incorporated into the treatment and they have a sedating and stimulating effect. They are used to reduce inflammation and support muscle injury and recovery.
Benefits:

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing treatment that uses universal energy or life force and works around a client’s energy field? During reiki, an energy transfer occurs from the therapists’ palms to their client own self-healing. Reiki is suitable for all ages. It is non-invasive, fully clothed treatment.
The therapist’s hands are placed on or near the client’s body. The client can lie or sit during treatment. It can focus on the whole body or specific parts of the body, using various hand positions. It can also take place distantly. The client may experience tingling, warmth sensations during the treatment and this indicates the movement of energy.
Benefits:
Aroma Reiki is a treatment that combines reiki energy with the power of essential oils to enhance our senses and the healing and therapeutic benefits for a deeply relaxing and powerful treatment.
What happens?: A tailor-made blend is formulated during the consultation and the blend is used during the full reiki treatment. The blend is taken home for you to use for self care.
Benefits:
Rahanni Celestial healing was founded by Carol Anne Stacey. The word Rahanni means ‘of one heart’ it is a gentle hands on healing that is heart centred, opening you up to your own truth, love and compassion. It works by balancing the masculine and feminine aspects of ourselves (yin and yang). Similar to Reiki you relax in a warm, safe and cosy space. Hands are placed in the aura or around various areas of the body, whilst the practitioner channels Rahanni Celestial Energy. During the sessions you may feel a deep sense of peace and calm, as tension and worries start to melt away.
Benefits:
Pellowah is a hands off energy healing technique channelled to Kachina Ma’an in 2003. The word Pellowah means ‘Radical shift in consciousness’. It works on a mind and spirit connection rather than a physical body connection. Pellowah works with the person’s own consciousness, therefore every session and experience is individual for that person. The session may feel activating or relaxing as it generates new and expanded perspectives and pathways. Therefore as a result it increases the capacity for positive change to occur. As old blocks are removed and realigned, you may become aware of a shift in the mind perspective. Pellowah meets the individual where they are at and brings about whatever shifts are needed at that time.
What happens?: Similar to other therapies you are made comfy and warm but the difference is there is no other sensory input such as sound or scent. The practitioner will offer an eye mask and or ear plugs to completely help you merge into the Pellowah energy experience and relax and receive. The practitioner invites the energy in and holds the space for the Pellowah energy to flow but does not receive information themselves to feedback to the client.
Benefits:
Heavenly Harmony is a beautiful Ascension energy healing that opens the angel within us. It was developed by Georgie G Deyn. It uses colour, sound, vibration, toning frequencies to help restore the perfect blueprint, health, wealth, happiness, love and divine expression of who we are on a soul level. Helping us to grow and expand on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Thus clearing, balancing and restoring old mindsets with who we are within.
What happens?: You are made cosy and warm under a blanket and encouraged to focus on your breath as you relax your mind and body as you listen to a special created instrumental piece of music for Heavenly Harmony. The practitioner may sing, speak, tone or move around you during the session as well as hands on healing.
Benefits:
Angelic Harmony therapy is a method of healing which combines the use of colour, sound and vibrational frequencies of the creators light and angelic beings. It helps restore the perfect blueprint of who we are at a soul level. AHT works on many levels, physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and karmic.
What happens?: During a session we ask for each level to be cleared, balanced and restored. The practitioner channels using their voice, intention and pure vibration from creator to help restore the balance and allow the body to do what it knows best. Every cell and organ with our body is a sound resonator and responds to sound outside of your body. We can stimulate vibrations within the body and mind by learning to direct and control our voice cleansing, balancing and strengthening your own energy system through voice with the blended vibration of creator, seraphim and archangels.
